Usage

You type it. It works out what the software is, gets it from the right place, installs it, and tells you what it did. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to install first.

What you need

An AI that can use your computer. This is the only thing that stops a first attempt: a chat window on a website can read and write text and nothing else — it cannot see your files or run anything, so it cannot install software however clearly you ask.

Any of these can:

  Download it, then add a local project and attach a folder: the project menu → Edit project → Add folder

  open them the way you normally would

Why this works now

Installing software is mostly knowing where the real download lives, which package manager your machine uses, and what the installer is going to do. That is exactly the kind of thing a current model is good at, and it stopped needing help with it somewhere in the last year.

So there is no tool here, and nothing to add to your machine. The word is just a name for something your AI can already do.
